about Artwork by Jenny Wood
Australian born, Jenny Wood, has spent a lifetime pottering in fine arts and visual mediums but has recently taken them more seriously and taught herself to paint. This triggered off an interest so at a ripe old age, Jenny began studying a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Fine arts and Visual Culture at Curtin University. She may end up graduating with a walking frame, but as long as she is breathing she keeps trying.
Although she left it late to begin, she has enjoyed employing painting, printmaking, encaustics, mixed media and collage techniques to explore both whimsical and classical styles. Her love of photography and travel often combines as imagery in her art work.
A computer geek by profession, Jenny is an e-learning advisor at Swinburne University, Melbourne where she supports e-learning to teachers.
Thank you for taking the time to look at her work.
